Sunset trip to Empire State Building
« on: October 01, 2017, 05:10:16 PM »
Whilst in New York we had to do the obligatory trip up the Empire State Building and as I photographer insisted we did it just before sunset.  Managed to get a few shots with the lovely golden light and then found a place where I could rest the camera through the railings to get some shots as the light faded as tripods aren't allowed

Interesting to see how the city changes as the light falls.

My favourite is probably the third one, where there is enough ambient still to see the unlit portions of the buildings, and the lights are just starting to dominate.
