@mission1968 I use PS to stack as there are few/no free apps for the mac that stack as well as PS or Combine. PS leaves a few artifacts that need cleaning but not too many normally.

If your not familiar with the process in PS, I made a tutorial a few months back http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Um9Rse183Y
