I like them all but #1 and #4 would be my picks.  #1 particularly as I love black negative space and that look is fantastic.  Is there a blue gel on one of the  lights in #1 and #2?  I can see the odd blue fleck in the hair but the whites of the eyes have a blue tinge.....john

Wow gorgeous chicas and top notch photos. !,3 and 4 absolutely (don't care for mask shot). I wish I had blonds to photograph once in a while but they's scarce as hen's teeth hereabouts..

Re-edit of image I tweaked the wb to remove the blue.

Either you know how to direct the girls or they know how to pose for effect.  Whichever it is works beautifully.
Love the angle of the eyes and the cupping of the face.  Being picky, there is a hot spot on her nose...john

Lovely set of shots, my favourites would be #4 of the first set, and the two in the second set.

It's personal taste, but I'm not as keen on #1 / #2 in the first set where the face is less brightly lit for shots of women - I much prefer the re-edit of #2 in the second set, where the face is allowed to shine!

I see you've got hold of a Minolta 85 - I know mine is probably my favourite lens, it's difficult to explain why, but there's something special about the images it takes :)

2 & 3 from first set

The 85mm 1.4 is an excellent lens. I don't own one but I have used the Sony CZ 85mm 1.4 and must be equal quality lens
