Must post something
« on: October 06, 2017, 10:41:05 PM »
We are just coming into spring downunder and during the winter I have been putting my second book together and reviewing images.
This is one of a series from 2001 and my first digital camera.
These are my feet and prove I was there..... but where am I ??

If it's a punt, does that mean you're in England (or do other parts of the world also use such a crazy means of getting about on the water)?

The site was flourishing 5-ish years back, before the rise of social media and we had regular where or what am i?

A bit hard to do a posh accent on the keyboard but

"When I was at Cambridge we spent time punting on the Cam". I was there for part of a day in 2001 and spent time on the Cam.
There is a guy punting folk for a tour of the lake in Melbourne's botanical gardens but, other than Oxford, the only one I have come across.  And, yes, I was at Oxford too!!
For a couple of hours.....john

Cambridge and the Cam (from where Cambridge gets its name) is certainly the place most associated with Punting, but as well as Oxford you will also find punts being used at various other places in England - but it's not particularly common.
