Juvenile with attitude

One day in the states we were at the local beach and spotted this juvenile gull that seemed to have a lot of attitude

I think it's that "evil eye" that gives it the attitude. If you were on the East Coast I would guess it to be a Ring-billed Gull as that's the common "summer" gull there. If West Coast...don't know.

Here we call them Pacific Gulls if it is the same species.  The juveniles a a brownish grey and the adults white.
