very nice Douglas,  where do you find all these willing models,  are they friends or family?.   all mine are camera shy so portraits not something i seem to be able to get to,  did do a model shoot for a hairdressers comp few years ago,  might post a couple of pics from that

I'm sure that I understand your framing and what your vision for this image was.

Another pretty girl.

She looks pensive... hesitant. OR perhaps a little coy?  Guess it depends on WHERE in her face, you focus your attention. And you have captured that perceptual ambiguity.

There's an art to that you know. Takes YEARS of practice to perfect. You nailed it here! 

And the eyes are SUPER sharp!

I should eliminate that dark strip on the left. I didn't really have a vision. We were just talking and I said ok now I want to take some pictures of you.

The left corner of her mouth is ever so slightly up-turned in the beginnings of a smile.

As if to say; "I don't know Douglas. I've never done this before. Are you SURE you want to photograph ME? Here? Now?"
