A few more feathered friends
« on: March 19, 2010, 01:06:30 AM »
We have had some beautiful weather the past few days, sunny and high 60's (that's 20C).  A700/70-400G

Cormorant drying off.

Osprey dining. He let me get very close to him.

Osprey close up. This one was on a piling close to a ferry I was on.

Cormorant in the water. The closest I have ever got to one in the water. I like their eye color.

Great shots Peter. Nice and sharp. Great colors. Wonderful eye on that fish-eating vermin -- the cormorant. ;)

Maybe since Mr. Sony won't release a 400/f prime I will have to get the 70400G. Hummmm...

Wonderful images! I really can't decide which I like best. Those cormorants do have very blue eyes, don't they? And that first osprey is just fantastic.

Cheers!
