Title: windows 7 driver needed (edited)
Post by: Gordon McGeachie on November 17, 2013, 12:30:02 PM
for my Canon pixma ip8500 printer

I see there is an `add on`(#3 in this list  http://www.canon.co.uk/Support/Consumer_Products/products/printers/InkJet/PIXMA_iP_series/PIXMA_iP8500.aspx   )  to make the above printer work on windows 7, does anyone know if I need to install my old xp driver first and then install the add on to make it work?

just realised that the link does not take you to the list I thought it did...................oops.

this is what I meant by item number 3
