Title: Variable Autofocus (Bracket)
Post by: Goonybird on August 15, 2014, 02:13:53 PM
I had an idea that a manufacturer like Sony could incorporate that I don't believe is available.
I would like to see Bracketing Focus. So similar to Bracketing exposure,
the camera takes 3 or 5 images in quick succession. one at the optimum focus point and one or two each side of that point.
So where you have a camera body that isn't able to set the fine focus point for selected lenses, you would get a set of shots with one sharper than the others.
