Tamron lens / parts / repair
« on: July 04, 2011, 09:05:02 PM »
Out on a shoot yesterday evening, I propped my camera bag against a fence to enable me to squeeze through a small gap. My bag literally toppled over and fell flat on its back.

A minute or so later I pulled my a700 from the bag and was surprised to see that the lens had come away from the camera. To my horror, the bayonet fitting on the lens had broken.

Are you able to buy parts from Tamron.

Its a 70 - 300.

Thanks
I Got a camera. Can you buy composition as well?

I doubt very much that Tamron will sell you the parts or most other repair centres for that matter.
Its either a faulty lens off ebay or send if off to be reapaired.
