Currently very cheap on ebay and I have bought several a couple for 99p and working!

Sometimes you can also pick up one which includes a lens like a 50 f/1.7, which will also work well on your Alpha (though usually these are spotted, and the sale price rises accordingly).
It is difficult to explain to white mice that black cats are lucky...

I have got both the 50mm and the 28 mm lelses, both are superb for long exposure night shots on my Sonys.
