Frank, clearly you have found the older method and it still works, so all is well. :) The following may explain why you could not get the newer method to work.

Only images uploaded since March 1, 2012 have an 800, 1600, and 2048 size image. The newer method gives immediate access to all sizes up to the size of your original upload.

The HTML code to embed a photo in a web page that you used to find on the All Sizes page is now only in the Share menu on the photo, to the left of the More menu. We now also include BBCode! (standard message board code)

There are a few cases where the code may not be available: 1) If the photo is restricted. 2) If that person has turned off "Share this" or access to original files.

Yes Frank, we are waylaying Stephens thread. :( That means you and I should be banned for a month. :D

However, before I ban myself, I must admit that I am unsure what the problem could be, other than the white balance. He did clean the sensor. Perhaps if he used a solution, it may have discoloured the sensor. As we all know we are not cleaning the sensor, rather we are cleaning a filter attached to the front of the sensor. I would say that considering the age of the camera and the pink tinge, that it is fit only for the garbage. Sony will no longer repair the Minolta 5 and 7. Unfortunately my Minolta 7D was sold many years ago, so I am unable to play around with it.

It looks to me like a colour infrared image rather than black and white as we are mostly use to seeing. No idea what would be causing it though.

Well, i tried IR a few years back with a hoya filter ( i think) and when the camera was still on normal colour settings  my pics came out like that. Changed to black and white and they were the regular IR look.

I know very little about the ccd sensor in this particular camera and techie stuff like that but from what i've read i'm presuming it had some sort of IR blocker on the sensor.

Is there any way this has been damaged or removed in the cleaning process?

I had a look at this (4. architecture section)

and this (4. digital cameras section)

Note picture at top of page has similar look/ colour cast
