Digital Imaging Show or Photovision Roadshow? - UK
« on: October 09, 2013, 11:13:23 AM »
Hi guys

Thought I might check out either the Digital Imaging Show or Photovision Roadshow (in the UK) happening in November this year.  Can only really justify going to one, so just wondered if anyone had been to one or other or both and whether they are worth the train ticket?

Thanks

Rebecca

I know it is not UK Rebeccah but Sony were a no show again at the digital imaging show in Melbourne..
They do not support these events in this country.  To see all the latest Sony toys we have to go to the Sony Style store....john

Hi John

Thanks, I do think it's a bit odd, but there's none of the camera manufactureres are going to be there.

I have been offered the chance to exhibit some pictures next summer at a local art exhibition and I just wanted to check out some of the mounting/framing options because I don't know anything about this.  I wasn't looking to play with Sony toys, that would be very dangerous I think!! Having said that, I have just posted about thoughts of getting a better flash............

I've managed to organise something else in London on the day of the Photovision event so I will see what it's like, if it's rubbish it won't be a complete wast of time.  Will post back when I've been,

Thanks

Rebecca

There were some great images exhibited in the Melbourne gig and we went to one interesting presentation.  Good to see the accessories toys too..  john
