Nice work Gordon. Another way to get your work around -- and make you feel good -- is to donate framed prints to charitable orgs. I don't know how tax laws work where you live (UK, right?), but here I can get a tax receipt for a minimum of $135 or for whatever the framed print sells for at a fund-raising auction. Here's how it works. I get a request to donate a framed print. I pay for the print and frame. The charitable org sells the picture at some special event--they typically go for $100 to $200 each at silent auction. The org gets the money and I get a tax receipt which means I usually break even on the donation. Everyone wins. They get money, someone gets a print and I feel good.
We raised $1,845 for the local library in October doing this. I may even end up making a few dollars because the tax refund should be greater than my costs.
Again .. nice work. Good on ya!
