Still can't see or insert emoticons
« on: September 14, 2011, 11:43:51 PM »
What am I doing wrong ?  I use to be able to insert them but all I get now is a red X.  Also, everybody elses show up as a red X.  I think I've been hit with the stupid stick to many times.

Have you tried looking at your Profile/Forum Profile/Modify Profile/Look and Layout. There's a setting there for smileys.

Second thoughts. I think some thing has gone amiss with the forum software. Nod is also complaining of the red cross plus "recent topics" brings up many pages of post headers going back a week or more instead of the usual ten or so messages since I last logged in.
