Minolta Scan Dual II help please
« on: December 18, 2014, 12:22:56 PM »
I`ve encountered a problem with my Scanner.Onthe inside of the mauve scanner door, two tiny mauve plastic "lugs" have broken off so that the scanner door will now no longer stay closed for the set up procedure, resulting in the operation failing to happen. On starting up,hat should happen is I switch on the scanner, then click Vuescan.A box then appears asking me to close the scanner door[this always happens].I will then click OK and the scanner immediately starts its set up procedure. This no longer happens and no scanning can be done.Clicking OK no longer triggers the start up.Is there any way to override this to allow the set up procedure to go ahead?I ve already tried super glueing the lugs back on to no avail.Any suggestions welcome.
