Dang and drat it and may they rot their socks !!
With the purchase of the A6300 for Mrs C I needed an upgrade of the version of ACR I have been using to open the new files.
Adobe in their infinite wisdom have changed the background colour of the sliders to mid grey with white text much the same as LR.
One of my beefs with LR was and is the colour of the screen and writing as I find black on white easier than ivory on mid grey.
Got onto cloud help and of course you cannot change the colour same as you cannot change LR.

Not very happy but what can you do.

And Mrs C is running CC6 from the licence we bought before the subscription idea.  The ACR updates for this do not take in the A6300 so she is back to dng Yea dang dng !!
Not happy

Not sure what your problem is John. I have no problem with the colors in ACR as I believe when you change the colors in Photoshop they change in ACR. I have white text on a dark grey background. My version of ACR  is 9.5.1 which I believe is the latest as it was updated just a couple of days ago. In Lightroom you can change the colors in edit >preferences >Interface to be the same as Photoshop.

Further to my post above John, here is some information about ACR 9.5.1 which is the version you need for the A6300. I doubt you will get black writing on a white background, not cool enough for adobe.

Adobe Camera Raw 9.5

Adobe Camera Raw 9.5 rolls out new features and support for additional cameras, and fixes several issues.

Enhanced in this release of Adobe Camera Raw.

Your user interface preferences in Photoshop (Preferences > Interface) now apply to Camera Raw. For example, if you selected a Color Theme in Photoshop, Camera Raw UI uses that color theme as well.

Fantastic Charles, it works and I have my old colours back.
Just shows that engineers read the fine print and scientists just look for the next new discovery !!

Just shows how much the Adobe engineers know or understand.
